Breakout Session: Accelerating Innovation Track

Monday 9 March 2026

This panel will examine the critical role of joint international experimentation in fostering regional collaboration, enhancing interoperability, and addressing shared security challenges in the Indo-Pacific. As the region faces evolving threats, joint experimentation provides a platform for allies and partners to test and refine emerging technologies, operational concepts, and strategies in realistic, multi-domain environments. Panelists will discuss how experimentation accelerates innovation, strengthens interoperability, and builds trust among Indo-Pacific allies, while driving deterrence to maintain a strategic edge. Drawing on lessons from recent multinational efforts, including joint exercises and wargames, the panel will offer actionable insights into overcoming barriers to collaboration and innovation to address security challenges in the region.
