RuthAnne Darling serves as the Director, Operational Energy-Innovation (OE-I), ODASD (E&ER), OASD (EI&E), OUSD (A&S), and is the Operational Energy Capabilities Improvement Fund (OECIF) and Operational Energy Prototyping Fund (OEPF) Program Manager. In her current role, Ms. Darling leads a diverse and highly skilled team of professionals who manage over $250M in cutting edge and innovative operational energy technology solutions and has transitioned over 50 operational energy solutions to the warfighter since 2016. She directs 129 OECIF/OEPF active projects that address warfighter needs across multiple domains. With over 24 years in government service, Ms. Darling has held various technical, program, and financial management positions across the combatant commands and Services including positions with USINDOPACOM, USCENTCOM, and NORAD/USNORTHCOM. She holds an undergraduate degree in Computer Science from University of Massachusetts and a master's degree in business management from the University of Maryland.
